Zoe's in Homewood is one of the best locations for lunch in Birmingham. The chicken roll-up and chicken pita are simply amazing. They are served warm with grilled onions which might be the best part. Each meal is served with pasta salad, potato salad, or fruit. It is a great way for a me to have healthy lunch and my daily dose of feta. It is only open weekdays until 4:00. It is also best to avoid it during the heaviest lunch times because it is very crowded. (March 2004)

I have mixed feelings about this place. Its fast food, but its kind of expensive. Most of it seems on the healthier side but then they give you a bag of potatoe chips as a side.

I've tried most everything, I guess the chicken roll-ups are my favorite. Greek chicken marinara was good but not filling.

The quesadillas are not as good as would be expected.

My wife really likes the greek salad. It is a good looking salad, but unfortunately, they just leave their bottles of salad dressing sitting around on tables all day. including outside in the hot sun. It grosses me out to see the way the salad dressing is kept and so I never order the salad because I can't use their dressings.

I think of all the Greek and pseudo-Greek places in town, Zoe's is by far the weakest. I'm a salad person, and their Greek salad is nowhere near as good as you'd find elsewhere, and they just DUMP feta on it. Way, way too much.

My wife and I love this place! Great food, great value. This is a Birmingham staple for sure! You can make some smart choices on what you eat or you can really indulge with some of the best chicken salad and pimento cheese I have ever had. We frequently pick up a dinner for four (kabobs are our favorite). I think the price is just right but I've always been one to pay a little bit of a premium for something that I know is made on premise, fresh everyday. Just my take...
