Harry's Place

1837 Montgomery Highway, Hoover
733-9544
Tucked away in a small shopping center south of the Galleria, Harry's burgers are moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Also other sandwiches, milkshakes, breakfast and more. Winner of the Birmingham News' "Best Burger Around" contest.

Had lunch here today. I've always been tempted... maybe it's the "Birmingham's Best Burger Winner" banner. We had a couple of mushroom swiss burgers that were awesome. Fries were hot, and even had a good homemade malt at the end... total price? 10.79 for 2.

A new staple for us... However, when it comes to burgers, I still feel like Sammy's Sandwich Shoppe off of Airport Blvd. takes the cake. ;)

Food Studio B in Greystone Park has the best burger. It's a nice, lean Kobe Beef Burger w/a very nice Bleu Cheese with a Carmalized Onion / Applewood Smoked Bacon relish. I don't like bleu cheese, but this is still my favorite burger.
