Inexpensive, casual, order-at-the-counter atmosphere. Pizza by the pie or by the slice, calzones, sandwiches, pasta, salads, more. No alcohol served. Great place for a quick lunch or family meal. One big plus -- you can order your slices with custom toppings.

My husband and I went for lunch on a Saturday (Pelham location). Nice atmosphere, TVs were on. Everyone was really friendly. When we told who we assumed was the owner we had never eaten there before and asked what was good, he responded - everything! He told us he made all the pastas there in the restaurant. There were many items to choose from and they all sounded so good, it was hard to decide. I went with spinach manocotti and my husband had the meat lasgna, both came with 2 large breadsticks that were more of a parmesan cheese rather than garlic (we both love garlic bread, but it was a nice change). It was cheap at 5.50 apiece plus drinks. We were pleased with our meal and will go again. (July 2006)
My husband & I ate at Alfredo's on a Friday night (Pelham location). We went in with low expectations as we were not sure if this was a good place. We were pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive the menu was and especially how great their food tasted. He got the sausage parmigiana dinner & I got the chicken parmigiana dinner. We were both surprised at the ample amount of food we received. The only complaint if you will was the bread was a little on the bland side, would like to see some parmesean cheese or butter on there. Otherwise great food we will be returning. I have eaten at both Alfredo's Pizza's and am always well satisfied. They have a great selection of pastas, calzones, sandwiches and stromboli rolls. They even have pizza by the slice, which I love. The only downside is that they only have one kind of salad dressing, a greek style vinegrette. I highly recommend their calzones, with freshly made dough and three kinds of cheese, and their muffaletta. It's the best one I've ever had.
The quality of the food greatly exceeds what one would expect from the prices. When they first opened, I was pleasently surprised. My one complaint was that the marinara sauce they used had an unusal flavor. I think they have modified their sauce however as I noticed a change for the better within the last year. The pasta dishes are average for my taste. However, some of the sandwiches are very good, specifically the chicken hero. The bread on the sub roll was warm and toasty. Very good. Having tried the calzones, pizza rolls, and pizzas, I would recommend these too. Particularly, the 4 cheese pepperoni and white florentina pizzas. The salads were just average and were pre-packaged. Surprisingly though, the tiramisu was quite good. The price and speed cant be beat
