One of four, all located in the Southeast. Outdoor bar area, live music. The bar is so popular that you may have a hard time finding a parking place, but the food's good, too. Great fresh-made flour tortillas and guacamole. Nice departures from typical Tax-Mex, with entrees like grilled shrimp kabobs, crawfish enchiladas and veggie fajitas.

Having moved here from Louisiana, I have visited Superior Grill on numerous occasions at their New Orleans and Baton Rouge locations. Though at times I have found some items a bit overpriced, I have always enjoyed the smoked meats and relaxed atmosphere - especially on their patios! However, I recently tried to bring my son (6 months old) and a friend to enjoy an early dinner (4:30 PM) on the patio and was told that no one under 21 was allowed! This caught me offguard because, though the Louisiana locations are also known as night "hot spots", they are also very family friendly during the day. In fact, I remember being on the patio at the Baton Rouge location and having a nearby table of about 20 (mostly children around the age of 7) celebrating one of the children's birthdays. Needless to say, it was such a gorgeous day that when I was told my family was not welcome on the patio, I went to a nearby restaurant where I was welcomed - baby and all! Superior Grill does have good food. However, until this location becomes more accepting of my family, I will be eating elsewhere!

A big fake Texas place!
Overpriced and overrated.
Nothing but a "pick up joint". Food is at best average. Please ladies, stop hitting on me. I am taken!
