Small, casual place where you walk up and order, eat in (including outside dining) or carry out. The wrap sandwiches with lamb are wonderful. They also offer carry-out complete dinners if you order in advance. Wine offered by the glass or the bottle.

Okay, but both the food and atmosphere has that sterile feeling of a large chain.
Taziki's has the best salad in town. The only prolblem is that it is only sold on Friday's and Saturday's. It is the special on those days. It is mixed greens with tomato, feta cheese and grilled chicken. It is topped with a balsamic vinegarette and fresh basil. My husband and I eat this most weekends. The food is always fantastic. I highly recommend it.
Nothing special here, in the food or the atmosphere. Wish they would serve real pita chips with their sandwiches instead of ordinary potatoe chips. Still; it is a convenient place to get Greek food with several locations around town.
I agree with the post about the Friday special being the best salad in town. I too, have it every single weekend without fail. Sometimes I have them make it with either lamb or shimp, instead of chicken. It's fantastic either way.
Love their Thursday Pork Loin Sandwich Special and their Friday past special. The chicken roll up is pretty good in my opinion. Also, they have great pasta salad with feta and the roasted new potatoes. Not a huge menu and it's definitely not a place for picky eaters, but I do like it.
It just doesn't seem as good as it used to be. Something has changed. They seem to big --chicken was tuff. My Lamb gyro(my old favorite)tasted frozen or old.I hope it gets better.
I like to go there and order a HEAPING BOWL of PASTA SALAD and maybe get a SIDE order of gyro.
Taziki's pasta salad is, without a doubt, the best pasta salad in the entire city, maybe even the state.
I usually eat at Taziki's JUST FOR THE PASTA SALAD. It's that good. I usually order my pasta salad with a side of Lamb Gyro.
The guy above doesnt often make sense.
I ah-bsolutely LOVE Tazikis! I think that it is one of the best places I have EVER eaten at! Despite what other peaple on the post said, trust me. It's great.
Yeah, the egg-sandwich use to be heavenly. Not anymore. I think it's gone downhill recently.
This is not real Greek food, not even close. They don't serve Falafal, who doesn't serve Falafal? It is a staple for all greek restaurants. Taziki sauce is all wrong. It is suppose to be a yogurt base. In addition, the Dolmandes are just unmentionable.
Go to the Greek Festival happening on Sept 12th and you will see what Greek Food really is.
This place disappoints...big time.
Tazikis has been a favorite of mine since they opened in the 90's. The food always tastes fresh, and the daily specials always please. The Collonade location is hands down the BEST! The service is always timely, the staff is friendly, and the catering does a fantastic job. The other locations are ok, but this one stands out!
I love this place. It is understood to be a play on greek food, not authentic greek. Anyone intelligent would realize this right off with a name like taziki's.Regardless what anyone says you can not get a fresh, from scratch, quality meal like this for the price anywhere in town. The mountain brook location has the best food hands down.
Exactly...this is NOT real Greek food. The restaurant owners have made their own spin-off on Greek food, nobody is saying this is authentic Greek food. Also, falafal is NOT Greek...
The Friday special is amazing though. Like many people, I eat it most weekends. The prices are very affordable. The only thing I do not like is the parking at lunch time at the Mountain Brook location...it is a nightmare!
It doesn't suck because it's inauthentic. It sucks because it tastes and feels like fast food.
The meals Ive had here have been ok. Not bad, but not great. The chicken a little dry. I dont know, I was underwhelmed. I would agree with Shia, left me with the impression of "fast food." I think I even like Al's on 10th ave S better.
Actually, the food there is Greek. Granted it may be a fusion of things. THE OWNERS ARE GREEK! In fact, the work the Greek Food Festival every year. I would know...I go to church there. Taziki's is a great place to get a light Greek meal, while also providing options for those who aren't that daring with their food selection!
If you don't like it, just don't go there....
Horrible attempt at Greek food by actual Greek owners. Shame on them and you if you eat here.
As a first time visitor for the lamb wrap, we were disappointed with the scant amount of lamb dropped onto the ample lettuce for, it appeared, a visual effect.
