Open Monday through Saturday 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Fife's has been here since 1955 and has been operated by its second owner, John Kostakis, for 20 years. The focus of this casual, cafeteria-style restaurant is on home cooking, with rotating meats such as baked or fried chicken, country fried steak, roast beef, meat loaf, fish, ribs, turkey with dressing, veal Parmesan, beef stew and liver and onions. For veggies you may find the popular squash croquettes, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, collard greens, string beans, cabbage, corn, black-eyed peas, lima beans and fried green tomatoes.

We tried it and loved it! Surprised at how much food and the price was astounding. Loved the area...made me feel like home. Not fancy at all. Lines may be long at times..stay anyway..you will be glad.
