Sarris Cafe

2651 Pelham Parkway (Hwy. 31)
685-0100
Breakfast and lunch. Owned by George Sarris, previously owner of the Sarris Seafood & Steak. Desserts by Karen Bean, who owned Karen's Cafeteria, formerly in this space. Lunch entrees include two fresh vegetables. Sample entrees are beef sirloin tips over rice, chopped sirloin steak with onions, baked Greek-style chicken with rice, fried snapper, blackened grouper, roast beef, turkey with cornbread dressing, stuffed pork loin, and souvlaki. We found it to be pretty average.

My friend and I recently had lunch at the new Sarris Cafe in Pelham, AL (formerly Karen's, I believe). We had a delicious meal, and the service was very attentive, considering it was "cafe style. We also splurged for dessert, and it was hard to choose from their huge selections. Very, very delicious - good service, and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning to their restaurant.
