A coffee shop in downtown Birmingham offering morning favorites, sandwiches and salads. City Scene called it "a world away from the ordinary," with African and local art and delicious food ranging from turkey subs to venison pate. Try Cape wines and South African beer during happy hour.

I had a recent run in with one of the owners of Safari Cup in which he verbally assaulted me when I asked him about an event his establishment was sponsoring. This confrontation took place via telephone. Someone had placed flyers on the vehicles of my tenants in a private parking area which is restricted to authorized users only. When I called to discuss the flyers he screamed at me with no provocation.
From research I have performed in the immediate area this is not unlike him and he is known to become volatile to patrons, vendors and staff.
Regardless of how good or deficient their product is I caution all customers to use caution around this man.
