A few notes from Jo Ellen O'Hara's column in Friday City Scene:

• Copper Grill in Brookwood Village is becoming Plaza III. The restaurant will be closed Aug. 12-14 for some redecorating and will reopen Aug. 15 as Plaza III.
• The co-owners of Taziki's are opening a new restaurant at the Colonnade, Baha Burger, which will feature gourmet burgers made not only from choice Angus chuck, but also from chicken, turkey, pork, lamb, salmon and veggies. 
• Shonos, a Japanese grill, has opened at 1843 Montgomery Highway in Hoover in the shopping center where Hobby Lobby is located.
