Monday Fine Dining

We got an e-mail from someone looking for a nice restaurant where they could take a client on a Monday night. Most of Birmingham's best restaurants are closed on Mondays, but here are a few from our listings that are open:

For sushi, Jinsei in Homewood -- quite good and also fairly chic -- is open on Mondays; in fact they will even be open on Labor Day if they follow the same practice as last year. A friend and I were craving sushi on Labor Day 2008, and when we found Sekisui was closed, we tried Jinsei. It would be an excellent choice to take a client who likes sushi.
