This week, in honor of the tax filing deadline, Satterfield's Restaurant in Cahaba Heights is not only having happy hour until 8 p.m. in the bar and in the dining room, but every night this week, they say, "We're going to bail someone out -- maybe appetizers, maybe dessert, maybe the entire bill!"

What a great excuse to sample Satterfield's bar menu (served Mondays and Tuesdays), with seared fish tacos, Haller's sliders, tempura fried sweet potato fries, Corey's meat pie featuring Black Angus beef and Wright Dairy cheddar, fried olives stuffed with goat cheese; or its tapas menu (served Wednesdays), with goodies like fried rabbit livers, pan seared diver scallop with spring pea risotto, olive oil poached tuna slider and more of that Corey's meat pie.
