Video about Do Di Yo's
Do Di Yo's restaurant had its grand opening in Homewood, where Tria Market used to be. Haven't been there yet (we usually give a place a few weeks at least to work out the kinks), but here's a nice video putting together interviews and photos:
On a related note, also found some photos on flickr from 'Ham Sandwich from DoDiYo's, and it looks like they might have kept the cheese counter from Tria. If they have the same kind of service as Tria had, that's good news, because that was my favorite cheese counter in town. Whole Foods' may be larger, but bigger is not always better. Sometimes more is just overwhelming.
After just getting a call from someone looking for Do Di Yo's phone number, we added the listing to the web site. http://www.bhamdining.com/mediterranean-mideast/do-di-yos.html. Their web site is up and running now, as well.

Do di yo's is fantastic! Ate there for lunch yesterday- grouper in lemon/butter sauce delicious and very affordable. Feta spread comes to the table with bread- flavorful! Atmosphere energetic and quaint at the same time. Staff: enthusiastic and professional. You gotta try it!
Ate there two Thursdays straight. First time their Spanikopita was fantastic!
Second time, had the same thing, and it must have been leftover from the other week. Commented to waiter, that it was old. His comment: I'll tell them.
As I was leaving, Connie, one of the owners, was greeting table guests. I also told him, and he said he would check on it.
To top it all, I emailed them, making them aware of of my two visits and the great and the old.

Went to Do Di Yo's and for all the bling in the restaurant the food was average. The valets took forever to get my car on the way in to the restaurant and took even longer when I was ready to go. Parking @ that location is ridiculous! Highly overrated!!
