Smoked pork, chicken, ribs, beef, turkey, sausage with all the trimmings, plus non-barbecue appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, soups and salads. We eat at the Riverchase location frequently, and think it's very good, but have heard mixed reviews on other locations.

We always enjoy Jim N'Nick's! Recently, they have begun adding red peppers to their Greek salad, but prior to that it was a perfect and delicious blend of cucumbers, greens, feta cheese, tasty olives, and their wonderful house vinagrette. I always get exactly the same thing (buffalo chicken fingers and fries) which are unfailingly delicious. (although the sauce may have a little too much kick to it if you don't like spicy foods) You wouldn't think that you'd have to review sweet tea here in the heart of Dixie, but I've had so many glasses of syrupy yuck that I feel compelled to comment that theirs is perfect.

JNN has earned its spot as one of our favorite restaurants. Entrees are also easily big enough to take some home with you, thus halving the price.

I have been to JNN more than 50 times., and although it is very busy, the wait is worth it. The wait persons are courteous and accomodating. The BBQ is a longtime secret, and is my favorite. I went there nearly every week when I lived in Hoover. The portions are good, and I could usually take some home for another meal. If you like good sandwiches and great BBQ, you want to go here!!

BBQ is not bad, about a 6 on a 1-10 scale. Sandwiches are over priced IMO. The BBQ stuffed potato is pretty good.

A great all around restraunt. They have one of the best bbq salads (pig in the garden salad), an excellent bbq potatoe, and they make great homemade sausage and awesome cheese biscuits.

I would agree with the above post, the buffalo chicken tenders are also excellent. They have a good beer selection too.

Now what about the bbq. They are #3 for best bbq pork sandwich in town.

I visit the store in Jasper, AL several times a year. At that store, JNN delivers a consistently good product with good value. A major issue with barbecue is consistency. JNN nails consistency at this store. The servers seem well trained and well managed. Management seems to pay attention and seems to care. The sides are well prepared from high quality ingredients and add a taste advantage over competing producers of barbecue. A visit to JNN is a dependable pleasure. JNN in Jasper may be that city's best restaurant.

I've been to the Greystone Jim N Nicks way to many times to count and have never been disappointed. Everything on their menu is great... from their salads, to chili, to BBQ, to catfish.

Service is usually always great and will always recommend this to people visiting the Birmingham area!
